Every House Member must adhere to a strong code of ethics in order to ensure an honest and transparent government. Despite strict ethics rules in Congress, House members – incredibly – are not currently required to undergo an ethics training class. If Senators and Congressional staffers are required to take this class, we should be as well. Today, I cosponsored a bill that would require every House member to undergo this training, and I urge my fellow members of Congress to support good governance and immediately pass this bill into law.
