Every child has its unique characteristics. God perfectly created His children with no two individuals that have the same genetic structure. It only means that all the million children and people in the world are uniquely and historically different with one another. Just like in the movie “Every Child is Especial” where it revolves around a bubbly eight-year old boy who sees a different world and finds it difficult to match his world with colors and kites to that of the others in his age group. A boy, who’s always getting into fights and faring badly into school, he has gone from bad to worse, but no one seems to know the reason for his problem. The truth is, he is suffering from dyslexia, a learning disorder marked by impairment of the ability to recognize and understand written words. Until it came to the point that his parents can’t handle the problems that he had caused to them and their only solution is to send him in a boarding school. There he met this one of a kind teacher who was played by a great Indian actor, Aamir Khan, and slowly changed his fate. In this story it clearly showed the role of the family and the school. Family, as contrary to the idea that it’s the smallest unit of the society, it plays the biggest and the most important role in raising a child. Here the parents was given emphasis in upbringing their siblings. They have to accept their children no matter what. They have to address not just the basic needs of a child but the moral, spiritual, and emotional support as well. They will be the one to help the child each time they fall. Make them realize that in this world they have to be strong in order to survive. Another molder of a child is the school which includes the teacher. It also plays a vital part. Here they set the child to be ready to compete against this chaotic world. But, as a teacher they must also be knowledgeable how to address the different kinds of students. They are responsible in awakening those sleeping talents and skills of the learners. Just how the character in the story did his part, he revives the dying fate of the child and made it glow again. This is what a good teacher is, a real hero indeed. A hero with no name and no monument but plays the most significant profession in the world.
