Every day is Opposite Day, in Right Wing Bizarro World and its useful idiot-making misinformation machine. As incipient fascists, CONservatives DEPEND on their Stupid-Enough-to-Vote-Republican followers believing that hierarchical, corporatist, misogynistic, racist, homophobic rule by rich, authoritarian daddies who buy government and control the populace through misinformation, nationalism, hyper-masculinity, misogyny, cronyism, fear and stigmatization of the scapegoat du jour is democracy - while the Progressive values and policies that counter this oppressive, regressive, right wing, system IS the exact thing its trying to prevent. From the Oxford Dictionary: fascism /ˈfaʃɪz(ə)m /: 1) any right-wing nationalist ideology or movement with an authoritarian and hierarchical structure that is fundamentally opposed to democracy and liberalism. 2. any ideology, movement, programme, tendency, etc, that may be characterized as right-wing, chauvinist, authoritarian, etc. I wonder, do average Joe Republicans EVER gets tired of bloated millionaires making them the useful idiots in their own subjugation? You see, no one ever accused the CONservative leadership of not knowing their audience. Their fearful… racist… ignorant audience. So, they dont have any qualms of hesitation presenting them with such outrageous misinterpretations of history/reality, normal people (non-Republicans) are left to simply shake their heads, stunned at the depths greed-centered liars will sink to keep themselves enshrined in power and turn their supposed “fellow Americans” into laughing stocks ignoramuses. There is no question the followers of CONservatism are ignorant. They have to be... if they werent, they wouldnt be CONS. In their mind, all one needs to know about “fascism” is that... NAZIS had socialist in their name... or something. It doesn’t matter that “German communists, socialists and trade unionists were among the earliest domestic opponents of Nazism and were also among the first to be sent to concentration camps.” ( tinyurl/lpr9mc8 ) It makes no difference that, in addition to their persecution of Jews, NAZIS demonized gays, subjugated women to “traditional” “family values” roles, branded themselves with Gott mit uns meaning God with us,” excused horrendous acts against other human beings – like torture - by waving the flag, loved propaganda, lied their people into war, loathed democracy, demonized immigrants (“papers, please” you know… like in Arizona), talked about “real” Germans versus the “others,” (like real Americans vs Massachusetts liberals) claimed some people were “parasites,”… in other words, “makers and takers…” Need I go on? We all know the average Joe CON lacks the ability to discern, dissect and digest lifes complexities, so really, what can we expect? These are the idiots who write me on a near-daily basis to whine that Republicans arent racist because Lincoln freed the slaves... never mind that the Party of Lincoln was founded as a PROGRESSIVE abolitionist party... and THAT party died when the GOP sold out to the railroads in the FIRST Gilded Age and hasnt looked back since. In CONservative Bizarro world, the remedies for racism IS racism and fascism equals FREEDOM!
