Every day is an Oppurtunity to invest in the afterlife and to grow. Everyday we can invest more and more and that is why life is a blessing. We can ask for forgiveness as long as the Human soul in in the body. When the soul is taken out of the body and as it leaves from the area where the collarbone is then the time of repentance is over. so let us continually ask GOD for forgiveness say Astugfirullah(I seek your Forgiveness my Creator) while we build our palaces and gardens in heaven let us be mindfull of the fact that while we build everyday we should also not decontruct our construction of our own personal heaven by engaging in sins and by backbiting. Backbiting is saying TRUTH about someone when that individual is NOT present at that moment and if they were there, present then they would not like it or accept it. and when we backbite we are giving our good deeds to that person. what a waste. doing all that acts of worship but then giving away for free to someone.. But if we ask for forgiveness then allah will forgive but backbiting is a complicate sin because we need the individual who we have wronged to forgive us to fully let off the hook. If we do others minor sins then we can ask Allah/Creator/ Lord directly for forgiveness and then have our sins forgiven. but if we Backbite then we can ask allah for forgiveness and we also need that individual we opressed to forgive us also. let us watch the Tongue which is the biggest destroyer of our good deeds. let us aspire to master our ego(Nafs) and control this tongue of ours. and online let us stop to think about what we type when we are commenting and replying to people.
