Every ethnic group has a culture that distinguish them from others.It may be their dressing,language,belief,customs e.t.c that differentiates them from other people. One can also identify a tribe from other tribe through the local beautifications,tribal marks and inscriptions on their bodies.Sameway,God identifies his own children by inscriptions on their hearts resulting from the renewness of their nature through christ.When this change manifests in ones way of living,one would be identified by men as a true christain.God marks his own people by putting his spirit in them,the holy spirit distinguishes Gods people from others.Hence,romans 8:14-16 saysas many that are led by the spirit of God are sons of God,for you didnt recieve a spirit that makes you slave again to fear but you recieved the spirit of sonship and by him we cryabba father.The spirit himself testifies with our spirit that we are Gods children.Does God identify you as his own child?
