Every fifteen thousand more new likes or so Im finding a need to clarify some things. We support breastfeeding HOWEVER one chooses to do so. If someone feels like wearing a huge apron cover to nurse we support that, if someone just pulls the shirt down to nurse we support that. Just because we advocate against people implying or telling women to wear covers or to nurse in a bathroom, if one is CHOOSING that through her own free will, we support that. Please do not come on here for a whole two seconds and judge what BFMT is about based off one post. Its ridiculous, utterly ridiculous that we just got accused of only supporting women who want to show as much exposed boob as possible while their nursing. So ignorant to make such an assumption. We preach all the time that we support a womans right to breastfeed HOWEVER, wherever, and for however long she chooses. If she is CHOOSING to nurse with a cover I believe that would fall under the however part of our statement. Why do people always have to see one extreme or another? We know a lot of mamas arent comfortable with a lot of skin showing to think we would look down on that or not support it is extremely offensive. We work very hard fighting for women and their right to breastfeed how they are most comfortable. Notice our sentences we say How they are most comfortable it isnt We only support them if they nurse uncovered, loud, and proud cmon give us a break here youre fighting the wrong people here.
