Every job I have ever had I left money on the table. If I could - TopicsExpress

Every job I have ever had I left money on the table. If I could collect all the back pay owed to me from all the companies Ive worked for in my life I would be rich, well....less broke. Sometimes you have to invest in your life. Sometimes you have to work for free to make your dreams come true. For all the artists and musicians out there who feel shorted and used I have a message for you...we all feel that way. Whether you are in a 9-5 or working as a freelancer at some point we all pay into our careers and what we want to do. There is no supportive environment for the average worker, if you dont have skill or talent you dont stand out and you too have to fight for your rights as long as you are a member of the working class. Moral of the story, we are all on the same page. Can we start acting like it? I put in countless man hours every week that go unpaid, in fact, most of the time when I work it costs me money. Its not about the obvious its about the investment. Either you are with me or against me but just understand I will work my face off until my dreams come true whether you pay me, support me and understand me or not. Its not about music and art and paychecks its about people and progress, what side of the fence do you want to be on? Like my sister says, Nothing worth having comes easy.
