Every morning that we wake is another opportunity to give thanks for Life. Without life nothing else would be possible. To give thanks for our eyes, many people wake up but they cannot enjoy the beautiful sunrise, they can only feel it’s warmth as it kisses their skin. Be thankful for our ears; so we can listen to the sound of the birds as they chirp their morning praise and the rooster announcing that it’s time to get out of bed. Be thankful for the movement of our limbs; so we can take a morning walk, a jog, or run to energize ourselves for the activities of the day. The list goes on and on, but the main point is that we all have so much to be thankful to God for, and if we stop for a moment to think of something so simple yet important as waking up in our right minds in the mornings, we would truly see more than a million reasons to give thanks.
