Every problem has an opportunity: In my corporate/business life, everytime am confronted with an issue, I have always found an opportunity to solve, fix and grow. Issues if taken head on, with right intent, with a view to resolve provides for best avenues to solution and growth. Two incidents in few days: Junaid Jamshed. I am with him. He has offered an apology and we should move on. The opportunity I see with this incident is to fix the blasphemy law which has been consistently misused in our socieity. Also an opportunity to educate people about value of tolerance. Not just when a bearded man commits a mistake, but also when the poor, the clean shaven, the non muslims makes such errors too - if at all they make those errors, which also remains questionable in many cases. Let Allah be the judge for who is right and who is wrong. We make decisions/judgments for issues which Allah is the judge. While we leave things for Allah, we should be doing and deciding. Someone is killed and our response - Allah Insaaf karay gaa. Something which must be happening here. Beating of the Blind: Just shows our lust and love for power. We get blinded by our desire of pleasing the rulers/bosses to the extent that miss the basic lesson of humanity, affection, love. The optics of yesterday incidents were too disturbing to be ignored. IT was a sad, very sad day. Again I see an opportunity to fix the mindset of people after this gory incident. To bring the disable in the mainstream of society and treating them exactly as any other member of society is treated. The question is will be see an opportunity from these incidents to fix, solve and move towards a better, tolerant, loving, affable, just society. In the answer lies our future.
