Every time I hear invisible by U2 I think of my kids in Haiti. I remember a time when I was there just wondering how I could fix that place. It took long enough but eventually I realized I didnt need to. I saw these children and came to distinguish more and more their individual gifts: leadership, servanthood, art, singing, comedy etc... I saw each of their love for another, their joy, strength in adversity and hope for the future. My eyes were opened to the fact that God was already moving in this nation, Hes built up and continuing to build up Haitians to change their country. Each time I hear you dont see me but you will, I am not invisible I see those kids faces, and just smile cause I know regardless of how they might be overlooked the love Ive seen so many of them live out will change lives, I smile with assurance my 5 little Haitian siblings are leading impacting lives that are anything but invisible. I smile to know I have a God who created everyone wonderfully, created everyone with something to offer, its amazing to think everyone is a little more than we know.
