Every time I listen to this song I almost cry. It makes me think about being a dad to not only Jayden but maybe another little boy or girl as well. I can only hope that I can be as good of a dad as mine has been to me. He may not have been near me for my whole life but I understand. Terry Shorty Long you are an amazing dad thank you for everything you have done. Like I said. You have been over an hr away all of my life pretty much but I know you try. And now that I have Jayden in my life I truly understand what it means to be a dad not only for your son but helping raise someone elses. This song really makes me think about Jayden. Even tho I may not be his blood father. I love him like he is my own. And no one will take that away from me. And I feel honored to have the privilege to help him grow up into a handsome young man someday until he has his own kid and Amber Long and I can look at Jayden and be able to think that we raised a wonderful young man.
