Every time I start playing Skyrim, I end up getting to a city, and then muck around in it for a little while, pickpocketing people and stealing stuff, but quickly run out of things to do. Then I go out into the world and start wandering around in dungeons and crypts and ruins and tombs solo going through rote grinding and stop having fun with it. Even modding it to the gills I just get annoyed with randomly being attacked by wildlife/bandits or killing undead in caves. Ive decided that I want the next Elder Scrolls game to be filled with giant, sprawling, populated cities with less of the high fantasy and endless roaming around the countryside. I guess that, basically, I want a new open world Thief game, that is not as underwhelming as the last Thief game. But with a super moddable engine. Ill admit I havent mucked around with a bunch of the city mods yet, though, because I dont think I have the horsepower with this rig, but def will after the upgrade.
