Every time the Word of God made direct reference to a full day, - TopicsExpress

Every time the Word of God made direct reference to a full day, God would always say “evening and morning.” For example, in Genesis 1:5, God said, “…And the evening and the morning were the first day.” He doesn’t relate from light to darkness. Rather, He thinks from darkness into light; from evening into morning (read Genesis 1:8, 13, 19, 23, 31). No wonder He says, “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day” (Proverbs 4:18). Observe He didn’t say, “But the path of the just is as the shining light, that shineth more and more from morning into evening.” Men think that the day ends with evening, but God says, “No; your day goes into morning!” isn’t that wonderful! He reasons so differently; and we’re the ones who need to come up to His ways of thinking. If you’re born again, you’re born of His Spirit. Then, the Bible says, “If we live in the Spirit, let us also walk in the Spirit” (Galatians 5:25). We’re not only born of the Spirit, but have also been called to walk in the realms of the Spirit of God. To do this, we have to be spiritually minded. Our thinking has to become the “thinkings” of God; it has to be on the level of the Word of God, not on the ordinary plane of life. We need to learn and meditate on His Word so that we can capture His thoughts and His ways of doing things. 1 Corinthians 2:14-16 says, “…we have the mind of Christ.” Therefore, it’s possible for us to reason at the same frequency with Him.
