Every weekend for the past 5 years I have been taking the homeless dogs out to a high traffic area of a local business and setting up, in hopes of attracting excellent families for the homeless. And I have been successful granted....and I continue without griping, or fussing about all the work, the loading, the unloading, the lifting, tugging, pushing and pulling. And the Texas heat..........the sweat.....(whew).....but I keep on going.....getting up at 4:00 a.m. some mornings, trying to get everyone cared for before I leave, solving problems and working so hard............no time for complaints, JUST DO IT! The dogs are counting on you.....and I pray for strength, and God answers, and I get it done. I also pray for the day when everyone has a home, and the breeders STOP using innocent dogs to "make money" A few weeks ago, on the sidewalk, trying to get homes for the dogs, there was another lady on the opposite end of the sidewalk begging for donations for our soldier....Mary Kay.....sunscreen....attacking people before their shoe hit the entrance area....many people took off fast....she ran off several that were talking to me about the dogs....and I was having to deal with her all day....and then learned that she was a backyard breeder and SOLD YORKIES AND POMS.....I went silently balistic.....and her excuse was that she made $1,000.00 per dog.....and then I lit into her..............Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
