Every year I purchase a calendar brought out by the Mar Thoma Yuvajana Sakhyam for two reasons: 1) To know the Bible portions prescribed for worship on every Sunday 2) To know the correct spelling of the names of bishops of the church. This year the six-sheet calendar has the pictures of all the heads of episcopal churches in Kerala. Out of those churches, the Mar Thoma Church has conciliar relationship with only one church -- the Church of South India (I would like to be corrected on this). If the church can publish their pictures, why cant the church establish conciliar relationship with all of them in these days of heightened ecumenism, triggered by the attacks on churches?
