Every year Yum! Delegates are chosen to participate in the World Hunger Field Visit. This year the delegates are returning to Laos, which was our first destination for these field trips some 6 years ago. Delegates are chosen for their passion and dedication to the World Hunger cause, and a delegate is also chosen from the KFC store that raises the most amount of total dollars, and the KFC store that raises the highest average per customer. Delegates will be visiting the Luang Namtha Province, Laos from the 19th January to the 23rd of January to see first-hand the tremendous work of the team at the World Food Programme and how some of our YUM! donation money is being spent. The World Food Programme Project in place in Laos is the Feeding the Future: Nutrition Training Program. The aim of the program is to prevent stunting through educating women of reproductive age and other caregivers in the family about good nutrition practices, and the main sponsor for this project is Yum! We hope our group of delegates have a tremendous experience and return home with life long memories and an even greater passion to support future World Hunger Relief Campaigns.
