Every year during the week leading up to the football game against Randolph-Macon College, the students of Hampden-Sydney band together and raise money for the College. Members of every class, athletics team, fraternity, and club raise as much money as they can within this one week, and also strive to have the student body give at the highest percentage possible. This year, Brett Shaw 16 is leading his classmates as the chairman for this Student Giving Campaign, which not only raises money for the college, but also helps establish the mindset of giving back into the minds of current students.
