Every year, on this day, I count my many blessings. I survived my second open-heart surgery. The scariest day of my life (that I remember, at least). Having the same surgeon 21 years later was a HUGE blessing. I am so grateful for all the people who prayed for me and supported me during that time. I was so blessed to be surrounded by people who loved me and wanted the best for me. I know this day will come again. It honestly scares me so much, but its inevitable. My life is SO different than I ever thought it would be. And giving birth to a healthy baby girl is my biggest accomplishment yet! Seven years and still going strong!
