Every year we think back on that moment when we got the news of that earth shattering day. I remember I was in the delayed entry program for the Navy about to leave for boot camp in two weeks. When Connie Long called to say turn on the tv, I watched as the second plane hit. I will never forget that gut wrenching fear I had for our country (mine being even more since I had already signed my contract for the military). My love for this country burns deeper than most, and that maybe because of how I was called to duty when our country needed it the more than ever. Our country is still in need... We need to stop and pray, not only today, but everyday: for those brave people on flight 93 that fought back, all the lives lost that day, our military, and our other public servant such as firefighters, EMS, and officers. My life was forever changed. 9/11 NEVER FORGET.
