Everybody who flies knows the unspoken authority and etiquette assigned to the Window Boss. This of course is the person who is seated next to the window for the duration of the flight, and therefore has full operational command of said window. It can be open, closed, opened again all at the whim of the Window Boss who has earned this right simply by virtue of seat assignment. I was todays Window Boss from Chicago to KC.....and my seatmate violated my personal space four times by reaching across and jacking with the window themselves. My accidental elbow to her ribs on the fifth try stifled any further attempts. Window Boss Wins.
