Everyday I should be so thankful: Everyday I should be so thankful as I am today. We all have struggles, which means none of us is at it alone. We all have empty seats and awkward sadness over those lost to us, which means all over the planet we share this to. I am thankful for the time I have with each of you, and although we may not see each other often, this has little bearing on the love between families or friends who are family. Know that I probably thought of you all today, and wished that we were closer. I hope it was a wonderful day for everyone. For those of you standing the watch, holding security, serving your communities or your country know that we all may not show it the right way, but we are all thankful for what you are and what you do. It is with ease and yet with great honor that I can as a grateful citizen, thank you. Thank you for standing on the wall, holding the line, standing the watch, stopping bleeding, ending suffering and taking away pain. Thank you
