Everyone, I am in Virtua Voorhees after emergency surgery on Thursday night. I had a gall stone move through the gall bladder wall into a fistula then it moved through my small intestine wall until it caused a blockage. Everything backed up into my stomach. Before the operation 4 liters of bile was removed. The surgeon removed the stone from my small intestine. I have to recover from this surgery then will have gall bladder and fistula surgery. I still have a tube inserted through my nose into my stomach. No food or liquid until doctors give the okay. Thanks to my lovely sister Melanie for getting me back online here at Virtua. I can catch up, since Ive been out of the loop since Tuesday. I am doing very well and my caregivers are very pleased with my progress. Its a slow process. Thanks everybody. Take care, Dan
