Everyone STOP the Panic!!! 1) NGOs do not distribute food. WFP does. 2) NGOs do not look after Refugees/IDPs, UN does (terribly badly, using NGOs as contractors) 90% of the NGO money-budget does not go anywhere decent, except back to the donors as salaries, or overseas as rents in $$$ for overpaid guest houses. Is there a shortage of qualified experienced South Sudanese to fill these positions? NO... So no, SoSudan will NOT devolve into any more of a mess than it is, in fact, market distortions will be removed and prices and wages will come back to normal and sustainable levels... and we will lose the Black Market premium of $$$ to ssp. Where else in the world do you see NGOs paying $200 per night to stay in chip-board-cardboard boxes labelled as Juba Grand Hotel???
