Everyone has differing opinions on this, and I see both sides. Ive had a living will in place since I was in my twenties. We all should. Its not fair to place those decisions in someone elses hands. Now that Im 34 and I have cancer, stories like this one become much more real. I, personally, would not want my family to suffer through the ugliness of the end, if thats what the end would look like. There can be dignity in death, and we shouldnt be afraid to talk about it.
