Everyone has heard me say it. In order to achieve great things, you must make great changes. Get out of Your comfort zone, get comfortable with uncertainty and and let go of attachment. To think positive, truly deep down think positive and your life will change. The things you want in your life will come to you if you put out the right energy into the universe. That being said, I have an announcement that I have been so excited to make and I finally get to make it. I have been offered and accepted a position, within my company (PHI Air Medical), as a flight paramedic in Saudi Arabia. I will be spending 28 days there and 28 days off and at home with my family. As you all know, I have been working tireless hours to provide for my family and this opportunity, while sounding like a big time commitment will provide me and my girls with substantially more free time together, more financial freedom, and massive professional growth for me. This is an opportunity that I have spent MUCH time discussing with my loved ones and we all agree that it will be AWESOME. To dispel some myths, some mistaken preconceptions, and some concerns, Saudi Arabia is not a war zone. I will be providing Helicopter EMS services to civilians and this is not for the military. It is safe for us there, the Saudis want us there, and this opportunity is to help train the Saudi Arabian EMS providers an advanced level of critical care transport to the quality and effectiveness we provide here in the states. This is a major reason why my wife, zoey, and I are buying a house with my mother in law so they will have support and family here with them while I am gone. I am so thankful to my company, to my colleagues, my friends, and most of all to my family for all of the support that they give me. And just like that, the next exciting chapter in our life begins. Updates on my deployment date and base assignment as I receive them. It will be soon though. I will be also sending out invites for a going away get together soon.
