Everyone is so upset she doesnt own a home in LA. Meanwhile, the DC government is just trying to get her to pay her taxes on time: Sen. Mary Landrieu (D-La.) owes over $1200 in real estate tax penalties in 2012 on her East Capitol Street SE home...This isnt the first time Landrieu has owed tax penalties on her D.C. home. According to tax reports, Landrieu and Snellings owed tax penalties on the house in 2005 and 2006, but appear to have since paid the penalties. huffingtonpost/2013/02/20/landrieu-... I mean, cmon. This is like the definition of arrogance. Cant be bothered to buy a house in LA despite having enough money to build a $2 million+ home in DC. Yet cant be bothered to pay the DC taxes on time. Its hard for me to see this as anything more than her envisioning herself as above everyone be they residents of DC or LA.
