Everyone knows loneliness, just a matter of degrees. Could be happily married but theres moments of isolation, not being appreciated or understood, ignored or taken for granted. Ruts come with time and repetition. Even magic becomes numb, sensation dulled and minds lobotomized. It isnt time that destroys but lack of vision, creativity and willingness to explore new frontiers thinking youve explored each other, believing you know one another when not even glimpsing yourself or having a clue. Things change and good folks too. One keeps moving but the other lingers comfortably behind leaving a schism where love once bound, creating a rip between hearts and minds and comfort zones. Its no longer loneliness then but birth pains evolving or attachments weighing one down. No one gets to Heaven with a suit case in hand. No one arrives without leaving everything behind either. Tough road to cross, hard life to live but its the soldiers fate, the poets curse and the teachers dream. Different color paint but its the same small room, casket..... tomb. Impossible to leave this place alive- unless, you never really arrived.
