Everyone knows there are two types of sketch comedians: WRITERS and ACTORS. You cant really do both, which is why places like UCB and SNL have you pick one and stick with it. If you say you want to do both, they usually just laugh right in your face. Well, in my years of taking improv classes, Ive learned that you should always be hesitant to say yes to something. Because when something is unusual, you have to say no. That is why I am proud to announce that I am going to pursue both sketch WRITING and ACTING. I know it sounds crazy, but I just have to be me. And to all you haters that say it cant be done, guess what? Too late! I helped with WRITING a sketch show thats happening tonight at UCB Chelsea at 6:30pm and Im ACTING in a sketch show at Carolines on Wednesday at 9:30pm. Comedians that are shaking their heads saying you cant do both, just try and stop me. Ill be the one acting AND writing, while youll be the one doing only one of those things :)
