Everyone, never mind logic or evidence, dont even give it a chance. Just start immediately protesting (violently if you feel like it). Dont even take an introspective moment to ask yourself if it makes sense that a police officer would respond to a robbery, tell two people to get out of the street (who turn out to be the suspects) as they refuse, the police officer grabs the neck of someone 64 (from within his patrol SUV???) and as this gentle giant puts his hands up the officer just decides to shoot him six times??? That version of the story seems awfully irrational for that to be the basis for all these riots (and possible soon-to-be-riots). Watch the police smear campaign surveillance video from the convenience store. It basically shows you how Michael Brown feels about confrontation. He clearly welcomes it. Then minutes later hes dead. Hmm, common sense would dictate that you first and foremost dont put yourself in that situation. Whether its a cop or whomever, if youre in the vicinity of a gun, dont do anything to upset the situation. Because really, why make things harder for yourself. Again, thats common sense and not thug mentality.
