Everyone should invest in a dash cam. I mainly got mine for security while Im not in the car. As you can see in the video someone backed into my car while I was at work and left the scene. I was able to use the video to determine who was at fault and his insurance covered everything. My dash cam setup only cost $250 and the damage was $2300, you do the math. Sure its not going to happen to everyone, but Ive also been able to use it for other driving events, etc.
