“Everyone spoils them rotten” he jested with his captivating smile. Bridgette couldn’t help but admire his good looks. His face was beginning to show a few lines, but that just made him look intelligent rather than old. He had quite a square jaw which gave him the appearance of looking slightly angular. His eyes and hair were soft and his overall appearance was very appealing. I would imagine he gets what he wants most of the time, thought Bridgette, even in business. Then Neil talked a little about his art. This made his whole face positively light up. Bridgette then realised what was really important to him. “I think your paintings are great. I love the bold colours and the way you capture the surf,” said Bridgette enthusiastically. ”That’s down to many hours of watching. The best time is early in the morning, when the sun hits the top of the waves, that’s a really special time. You would think looking at the sea that waves broke on the shore in an orderly fashion, but really it’s more like mayhem. It’s a bit like life, each wave being at a very different stage of development, yet each one just as important as the next. There are small waves that just ripple onto the beach and large waves that have such strength that you have to marvel at their sheer power. The whole thing just blows you away.”
