Everyone tends to under estimate the abilities of marching bands. They work just as hard or harder than football players and most are probably smarter! They never get any credit. When Cleveland ISD.s Cleveland High School Royal Braves Band won Honor Band. (The best Band in Class AAA in the state of Texas) only two board members attended the concert in San Antonio. The band director (jonathan Kelly) had to pay for the charter buses out of his own pocket. If it had been the football team. All of the board members would have been there and Im sure the district would have paid for the buses. They paid for them for the football boys to ride in just for the play offs! The person that made(JIM ROME) derogatory remarks about this band really needs to apologize.
