Everyone with a double critter nation, weigh in! How long does it take you to do a routine clean, and how long to do a thorough cleaning? I have seen several people saying it takes them hours to clean their cages, so I am trying to figure out if I am missing something, or just very efficient. It takes me about 10 minutes to do my daily routine, 20 minutes for my twice weekly routine, and about an hour to thoroughly clean...not counting the washing/drying time for beds...I have spares and rotate them in rather than waiting on the others. Daily: pick up stray poos, dump litter box and refill, fresh food and water, take out any rubbish from chewed beds or toys, replace any super stinky beds Twice weekly: do all daily tasks, plus change liners and wash pans. Thorough clean: everything is removed and cleaned, cage bars are scrubbed down, new liners and beds into cage.
