Everything said and done, the fiasco by Geo, was totally uncalled for, the channel has been very callous in handling the attack on Hamid Mir. They have managed to create chaos and uncertainty in an already stressful panic stricken demoralised country, They should have been careful before giving in a verdict without a statement from Hamid,and that to endlessly. The best was when Ansari Abbasi wanted an immediate resignation from DG ISI. Our channels talk about freedom, if they think to smear slander and derogate is the road to freedom, than they need to think over.How very easily they jump to conclusions without finding the facts and getting proofs. Geo should apologise to the nation for sensationalising and spreading disillusionment,disenchantment, lack of trust and fear in the country, where its people are already on the verge of a breakdown. Having said that, Geo should not be held accountable for treason, this is like totally going overboard.
