Everything truly happens for a reason. Four summers ago, we - TopicsExpress

Everything truly happens for a reason. Four summers ago, we were looking for a basketball team for my daughter. What we found was something immeasurably greater. We discovered an extension of family. In these four summers, we have grown with this family. We have laughed with this family, and we have cried with this family. We have learned. And, we have challenged. And, we have accepted. We have developed into better people through this family. As a father, these four summers have pushed me, have pushed her, and have further cultivated our bond in ways that words will never explain. I have become a better man, a better teacher, and a better leader because of this family. This family has exposed us to people and places and experiences that could fill volumes of books, books that overshadow all of the triumphs experienced on basketball courts across the country over the span of these past four summers. This family has set the stage for our daughter to catapult to successes that will continue well into the next stages of her life when she is less concerned with being able to dribble or pass or shoot. We have learned to use the sport of basketball as a vehicle for our future, and we appreciate being granted access to share in this ride. Thank you for all your time and your patience, your sacrifices and you knowledge, your prayers and your guidance. Thank you, Coach Johnson. Thank you, Coach Hawkins. Always,The Wallace family
