Everytime we, Christians, compromise our faith and follow our own selfish desires, instead of God who promised us a good future, we end up being disciplined by Him. Yet, unless we learn something out of every whip we can never grow; will never mature. Following Christ truly requires alot from us (carrying our own crosses), even sacrificing our own plans in order that we may taste and see the genuine goodness and magnificent love the Lord has for us. We cannot afford to be led astray by the alluring pleasures and riches of this world. Remember, EVERYTHING is PERMISSIBLE but NOT EVERYTHING is BENEFICIAL. We were made to do the extraordinary and we have been given the authority to trample and cast out every work of the enemy in the Mighty Name of Jesus so step out and use that power! (Set your affection on things above not on things of the earth) (Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path).
