Everywhere in Johor, you can find Mamak restaurants serving unhygienic, overpriced food and drinks cooked and served by foreigners like Bangladeshi and Indian nationals. One can hardly find a decent Malay eating house serving authentic Malay food cooked by Malays. They are all leased out to Indonesians to run and manage. Indian restaurants are even more overpriced, serving food priced between RM8 to RM11, too steep for an average worker. Only Chinese eating places serve decent meals priced around RM4 per meal. What the hell is going on? Let us have more Chinese restaurants serving halal food so that Muslim workers, too, can have decent affordable meals.
