Evo is sold. The car was bought during the blizzard of 04, 3 hour drive up to Connecticut to get it. 10 hours later it was dripping snow in our garage. Over the years it saw many forms and variations, 2 sets of coilovers, 3 sets of cams, 2 motors, 3 turbos, the gamut of wheels and tires... It was a pig at times, chasing down ignition issues, boost cut, plug gapping, it sounded like a weedwhacker on pcp at times, it smelled like fuel at idle, but I loved it. I cannot even begin to count the number of relationships this car created or fostered. I am probably in as many peoples phones as Sam evo as I am Sam Corke. Cars to normal people are status items, a way to the mall, a burden but to a car enthusiast it is much more than that. So sad. Not because Ill miss the car itself but because of the memories I and moments it had created and fostered. Treat her well Tyler , she wont make it easy but she will be worth it.
