Eway International Limited, an Alternative Asset Investment and Management Group focused on Private Equity opportunities in Emerging Asia markets , is pleased to announce on the upcoming launch of its second fund, EOAF. The investment strategy of the US$100 million EOAF is a continuation of the first fund EOWF ( Eway Opportunity World Fund). The geographical focus is in Emerging Asia Market with an emphasis in Asia while the industry focus is in the Consumer and wellness sector. This strategy has been formulated based on the demographics trends in Emerging Asia characterized by increased consumer spending and urban migration in one of the most populous and youngest populations in the world. Eway International Limited is proud to have attracted high quality group of investors and targets to close the fund within the next 6 – 12 months. Eway International Limited is contributing US$4.8m as General Partner Commitments to EOAF representing 4.8% of target fund size. The commitment is in the form of cash and portfolio investments comprising equity in a sought after investments. The portfolio investment have since increased in value by over 1.5x and investors in EOAF will enjoy an immediate US$1.9m upside upon commitment. Eway International Limited will be raising part of the required capital investment for EOAF thru the sale of its very own internal Currency “EToken”. Each Etoken can be used to purchase for any of our subsidiaries products or services and can be exchanged for priority pre IPO shares from any of Eway International subsidiaries. An initial launch of 60 Million E Tokens will be issued to the general market with hopes to raise up to US$30m in cash and equities. The remaining required capital investment for EOAF will be thru the sale of 5 year convertible bonds with interest fixed at 18% per annum.
