Ex-militant leaders tackle Akande over attack on Jonathan on August 14, 2013 at 12:25 am in News Former Niger Delta militants have expressed dissatisfaction over the recent verbal attack on President Goodluck Jonathan by the interim National Chairman, All Progressives Congress, APC, Chief Bisi Akande, saying that such attack from a deluded and confused personality was a shame and should be rebuffed. Akande had in an interview with newsmen in his Ila-Orangun country home during the Muslim celebration, described President Jonathan as an unserious-minded person and running a kindergarten presidency. The ex-militant leaders, under the aegis of Leadership, Peace and Cultural Development Initiative, LPCDI, led by its President, Pastor Reuben Wilson, said though “the confused state of mind of the former Osun State governor had been certified, his recent utterances and attack on Jonathan and the Presidency was shameful, provocative and an affirmation of the deranged group of persons he is leading as opposition leaders.” LPCDI in the statement , yesterday, said ex-militant leaders in the South-South would deliberate on the growing list of unstable political jobbers and and declared them “persona non granta in the region.”
