Exactly 21 years ago tonight, I was admitted to Ashland Samaritan Hospital because I was 8.75 months pregnant with Megan. I had had the flu and was dehydrated and completely exhausted so they decided I needed to be admitted to get some I.v. fluids so I could be nice and ready for Megans arrival in two weeks!! Sounded good to me. So they hook up an I.v., and put me to bed!!! Well Megan had other plans!! As always, she had to make a grand entrance, so after a long night of what they called false labor she made that entrance about 5:30 a.m. on 1/12/94!! Happy early birthday to one of the most amazing events in my world. You continue to be an inspiring, guiding force in my life. I always said, I didnt know how Id have made it this far without a child with more confidence and grace than I will ever know!!! I love you and adore you baby girl!!!
