Excellent if not a busy day at the pendragon stages today We started the day with recovery unit rolling their dolly on our junction followed car 8 hitting a pheasant then had two cars trying to fit through the chicane together scattering the bales into the ditch. The afternoons events then came thick and fast , evo retired on our junction with two punctures , Car 1 then hit the chicane that fast it smashed his wing mirror off and put it through the co drivers side window followed our most dramatic incident of the day , car 31 had brake failure approaching the chicane with a proton breaking heavily in front of him. drive opted for the bale option rather than ramming another car , the bale must of flown 50 foot before bouncing and clearing the fence into the neighbouring felled. Sadly the car then continued on to make contact with a windscreen height steel barrier, a wooden fence and finally a brick wall that it moved up the road by six inches. Both crew were ok but the car was a little worse for wear. We finished the day with car 15 losing its turbo pipe and not making up the hill . Good days marshalling had by all "Dan - ferret2"
