Excellent job by ALL of our teammates this year for an awesome event and total! We raised over $23,479.47 this year, and YES we were more than one dollar more than last year! THANKS to ALL who supported us and the cause to help educate and eradicate cancer. One story to share, a nineteen year old male was found to have a cancerous tumor on his femur. Had they found the tumor when he was 18 he would have had his leg amputated and destined to wearing a prosthesis for the rest of his life. But as luck would have it they found his tumor when he was 19. Thanks to one more year of research the doctors learned that they could remove a portion of his bone and replace it with a cadaver femur. This nineteen year old is now living a full life walking on his own two legs thanks to the research that was conducted by the American Cancer Society. Thanks to research that was partially funded by all who contribute, including YOU! AGAIN THANKS TO ALL!
