Excellent perspective from Reddit user Doctorpeas: This sums up my feelings about this perfectly...Earlier today I told a friend of mine that a perfect scenario would be that Mr. Phelps gets met at his judgment by none other than the man Jesus Christ himself. And he isnt chastised. He isnt called a douchebag or asshole or any of that. He gets embraced. And forgiven. And loved. And in that moment, Fred Phelps would understand. Because the message that he (FP) distributed here - well, that showed us that he really didnt get it. He just didnt understand what Christianity is about. But I hope that now he has the opportunity to learn from the man himself.
