Provide individual, family and group therapy to improve the emotional and psychological well-being of children (Medi-Cal recipients) and their families who live in Los Angeles County. Under supervision, assess the psychosocial functioning and needs of clients and their family members. Formulate, implement, and re-evaluate a treatment plan through continuous assessment identifying the clients problems, strengths, readiness to change, external influences and current events surrounding the origins and maintenance of the presenting issue, and interactional patterns within the client system. Conduct interventions and provide counseling. Prepare and participate in weekly clinical supervision and case review. Services are provided in an office environment and in the community, including clients’ homes. Requirements: Requirements: MA or MS degree in Social Work or Psychology. Registration with the Board of Behavioral Sciences as an MFTI, or ASW. Experience counseling at-risk children and their families and preparing Department of Mental Health documentation. Trained in evidence-based practices. Bilingual English/Spanish required for one position. Salary: Commensurate with education and experience
