Excerpt from Whispers from Heaven The poem section C I lent it voice I lend it voice. It grumbles. It spits and snarls. It digs its heels in preparing itself to pounce at any moment. It violently shakes the tree to make it fall; And fall it will on a silent ear as if deafness could lessen the sound. It has no hands or arms or legs to run from it. There is no escaping the realness or the truth of it. The only redeeming feature is a friend called denial that ushers in at the most painful moment for a quick get away to the island of dreaming. Although, someday the voice will give up its rudimentary sound and bring up as if it had vomited a poison from the far-reaching depth of the soul. The vomiting causes it to cleanse and prepare for healing and quieting to bring with it peace and understanding. The voice lend most speak truth no matter how it sounds. If a sound isn’t heard is there still a sound? Or can there be no sounds unless heard. Can you tell me what sound voice has? Or does voice have sound? This is a thought to be pondered. But you can only ponder it for a little while because it will lose its value. You must say it, feel it, hear it, and then move on. You must reflect, but never live in it. To live in it would bring confusion. It was never, meant to be kept in place. It was meant to express with no identification. It was meant to be free of attachments to a person. It was meant to be accepted on face value alone. With no explanation necessary and none to be given. https://facebook/pages/Whispers-from-Heaven/604565892890783 link to my book bookstore.balboapress/Products/SKU-000651550/Whispers-from-Heaven.aspx
