Excerpts from a Telugu book "Divine Experiences" (Divyanuboothulu) written by Sri S V L Narasimha Rao of Hyderabad, published in 2010. In Chapter 35 "About Baba in Nadi Scriptures", it is mentioned: "During 1976 when Baba was in Bengaluru some of the devotees consulted a Nadi reader to know what is written in it about Baba. It revealed, among other things, that Baba will not be visible to anybody for a period of a year (…) it also mentioned about a great deluge and how only devotees of Baba congregated near Him will be saved .... Devotees asked Baba about the authenticity of the Nadi prophecy, Baba confirmed saying the Scripture (Saasthram) is always perfect. Dr Suri Bhagavantam and Karunyananda who were standing on either side of Baba fell at His lotus feet and pleaded to be taken with Him as they can not bear tbe separation for an year.
