Exchanges are about more than language acquisition, although that is often initially a main focal point. En Famille exchanges experience so many firsts: first extended stay away from family, first time wearing a school uniform, first time attending a traditional school (for homeschooled kids), first time skiing or riding a horse, and the list goes on.
