Excited to start reading the book Neurofeedback in the Treatment of Developmental Trauma: Calming the Fear-driven Brain by Fisher. Already seeing comprehensive studies that are showing how neurofeedback helps with attachment disorders, calming the brain enough to stop being caught between fight and flight. When in infancy we didnt get the adequate protection and care, the world can seem more threatening than it is on an unconscious level. Neurofeedback helps to update this system to start to see the reality; some parts of life are actually threatening, but mostly they are not and now we have more resources to help ourselves to be safe and protected. Ill tell you more as i read on! -posted by Heather C.
