Excited to watch, on CBC, the closing ceremony of The Commonwealth Games, 2014. Glasgow, by all accounts, has pulled off SPECTACULAR success during its hosting duties. The sun shone for most of the time and people smiled. As Scots, being ranked fourth in the medal stakes is hugely satisfying - we were still in Scotland at the start of the games when those precious medals were bagged - and boy did we feel proud! Its the taking part that counts - of course - and so, being that all participants are Commonwealth subjects, that makes every country a winner, no matter where they landed in the medal league. Huge respect, nevertheless, to our pals in England, Australia and Canada for their 1st, 2nd and 3rd positions, respectively. What a brilliant celebration of sporting talent. What brilliant games. What a gamely, lovely Commonwealth. Respect. Peace. Love. Colin and Justin xx
